Our Darling Dancer!

Madison has wanted to take dance for a year now.
She is finally old enough to start Mrs. Jeni's dance class.
Her and Hailey did a week long dance camp this summer,
but she wanted the real thing.
She loves it! She loves putting on her tap shoes and dancing around the floor.

She was super excited to have her friend Riley in class with her.
They are both all giggles when they see each other.

Flipping over with excitment for gymnastics

Hailey has done dance for a while now and was really wanting to do gymnastics so we decided to give it a try. She loves it and wishes she could do it all day everyday. She loves the bars the most right now. Blake also decided to give it a try. He won't admit it but he does enjoy himself. So far besides art class it is the only thing he hasn't complained about going to. He likes he coach a lot because he flips on the trampoline and walks on the wall like spider man. It is fun to watch them during class. Daddy is very jealous he doesn't get to jump on the equipment.

Look what I am up to!!!!

While everyone is very busy at school or whatever else.
I am very busy at home with Mom.
Look what I can do while she is distracted for a minute. Lunch time is so much more exciting when she goes
and checks her email and leaves me to eat.
I love it when she showers because I can sneak in and get the
Q tips to clean my ears.I am pretty good at pretending
to put deodorant on. If only I could open her mascara.

The bathroom is also fun to hang out in the toilet.
Thank goodness it is flushed.

Mostly I just wonder around calling "puppy"
and walking around with one shoe on.

It is good thing I am as sweet as I am because I am very hard
to keep up with these days!

Disneyland

While our family was here for Blake's baptism we decided to go to Disneyland on Labor Day. Madison and Abby loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Blake and Hailey were all about the big rides. They love Space Mountain and the Indiana Jones Ride. Madison did Space Mountain with us. When it was done Sara was crying for her Dad and Madison was giggling and asking to go again. My Mom had surgery recently so we got her a cart to ride on, which means we got to go in front of the lines on most rides! Todd surprised us with year passes so we are excited to go again. Now Madison and Abby can enjoy it like Hailey and Blake got to when they were little.

Abby went down this slide for at least 30 minutes she loved it while we waited for the other kids on the roller coaster.
The best thing about Disneyland is how tired the kids are at the end. This is Blake and Madison all cuddled up for the ride home. Back to school tomorrow.

Lil" Surfers!

We had to take Sara down to the beach and teach her how to surf and jump the waves. She got up her very first try. Way to go! There was a flowing river into the ocean at Torrey Pines that the kids loved. They immediately took the surfboard out and started practicing their balance as they floated down the slow current.

Abby and Madison even got in on the action.

There was also tons of little pools of water the kids splashed in and made sandcastles.
It wouldn't be a day at the beach without Abby's dumping sand in her hair and laughing. At least she isn't eating as much sand as she used to.
This is my favorite time of day at the beach.

Madison chilling with Grandpa and Grandma.
We had to drag Hailey, Todd and Abby out of the water.
When it got dark we went over to Fiesta Island, roasted marshmallows (thanks Mom and Dad for the Spinmallows), and watched the Sea World fireworks

Cute Cousins

Sara, our cousin, came to visit for five days. The girls all had a great time together. Everybody wanted to be where Sara was. It was one big sleepover! The girls and I all went and had our nails done. Madison was very sad to see her and Grandma and Grandpa leave. She had the sadest face and started to cry. They will be very excited to see her at Thanksgiving.

Blake's Baptism

We are so proud of Blake and the decision he has made to be baptized. He was very excited to get baptized and has been preparing himself all year. I was very proud and surprised how much he really understands about our Heavenly Father and his plan for us. Blake said he believes the stories of Jesus and wanted to be baptized just like he was. We love Blake very much and are happy that he is a part of our eternal family.
Blake was baptized and confirmed by his Dad. Todd is a great example to us and Blake really looks up to his Daddy. What a cute couple of boys!

Our attempt at a family picture. Oh well.

Blake with Gramps and Grandma Di. Grandma Di gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost for Blake. We really appreciate all that she and Gramps do for us.

Grandma Newbold and Grandpa Newbold came all the way from Utah. Grandpa Newbold gave a talk on Baptism. We are so lucky to have them both.

Grandpa Ryan also came up to be with Blake on his baptism. It meant a lot to Blake to have him there. Grandpa Ryan is always fun to play with.

Blake also had all of his cousins on the Ryan side there from San Diego and Sara and Charlene came all the way from Utah to see him get baptized. Adrianna, Kyla, Sara, Hailey and Jocelynn all sang a song for Blake.

Here is a picture of all of our family. All the Ryan's were there. Grandma and Grandpa Newbold, Aunt Holly, Uncle Kerry, Aunt Robyn, Charlene and Sara all came all the way from Utah to be with Blake. Blake is one lucky guy! We definitly had a full house afterwards. We went back for to our house for dinner and let the cousins play.
