Flipping over with fun!

For Hailey's 7th Birthday Party we decided to let her have a party at the gym that she and Madison take gymnastics at. Hailey loves gymnastics ever since we started her in the fall and is always flipping around the house practicing her stuff.
I did gym shirts for the girls with their initials in rhinestones and we gave them all a gym bag full of goodies for the gym and each girl got a chocolate medal.
The girls loved being able to play and jump in the foam pirate ship they have. The coaches played a few games with them and did some obstacle courses. It was fun to watch them. Some of the girls had never been there before.

Everyone had a great time and we didn't have to do any set up or clean up.
I loved that part the best! Hailey loved being able to share one of her favorite things with some of her best friends!

Coyote Idol

At school they had tryouts for the school talent show called Coyote Idol. Hailey and her two really good friends Annaka and Ryann wanted to do a dance routine. They were a hit and made the show. After the tryouts I asked how they did and they said it felt amazing. They were the youngest dance group and were not nervous at all. Hailey and I choreographed the dance and put the costume together and Annaka and Ryann would come over to practice. They were so excited!

They performed twice for the kids at school and then later at night for all the parents. They did a great job. It was just as fun to watch the girls together on the bleachers cheering everyone else on and singing along. They are the best friends and had a great time together. Way to go!!!

Lucky in Love

The leprechaun played a little trick this year and left the kids a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Then they were off to school. Hailey's class had set out a trap for the leprechaun and she thought when she looked in her homework folder that the $5 bill I had put in there for a PTA thing was a special gift for her from the leprechaun. Her teacher said she was a crack up she stood up and with big eyes and said she had found the treasure. Luckily she took the disappointment of it being for something else by laughing at herself for her silly mistake. At Madison's preschool the leprechaun had left a treasure hunt for the class to find a cup of treasure. After school Madison went to the dentist. The first time we took her six month ago she wouldn't even sit in the chair. This time she was totally excited and kept giving me the thumbs up. After the dentist, Hailey's dance practice and school the kids were so excited to see that Grandma and Grandpa Newbold had gotten there to spend a couple of days with us.
We had a special green dinner. This year the kids wanted green eggs and ham. We were so glad Grandma and Grandpa could come and visit and for helping us with our yard and projects when they were here. We are super lucky so to have them to love!

How we spent a Saturday afternoon.

We had breakfast at Tiffany's!
The rest of the morning we played some sports with the best of the best.
Then lunch with the President!

A meeting with Steven Spielberg.

An afternoon stroll with Zac.

Danced the night away with Michael Jackson.

Went to a premiere with Jennifer Lopez!

Madison fought of trolls with Shrek.

Went back in time.

Played with Mario!
What a way to spend a day in Hollywood!

When we were all done we went over to the Disney Soda Fountain
and had a giant ice cream to share!

All in all Simon we think it was a great way to spend a Saturday together!

Abby turns 2!

Our sweet little Abby turned two today. We had a little party at home for her. The kids were so excited to have a party for her. They wrapped all of her gifts and paced the floor in front of her room before she woke up from her nap to celebrate. I found the perfect cupcake for Abby. She is such a puppy lover we couldn't resist giving her a puppy cake. She loved it.
She was so excited to get some new stuffed kitty's and puppies. She carries them around all day.

The rest of the night the kids played on her new roller coaster for the backyard. She uses it all the time. She loves to sit sideways and backwards as she goes down.

The following Sunday we went to Grandma Di's house to celebrate with all her cousins.

We also celebrated Megan, Uncle Sean and her cousin Adrianna's birthday. Abby had a great time and loved all of her fun new things she got, but most of all spending her birthday with the one's she loves!

Happy Birthday Abby! We love you! Thanks for always making us laugh and being such a sweet little cuddle bug!

Meet the Cat in the Hat

At school they celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Hailey came home with her costume on and let me take one picture. This is the way she really felt about taking her picture today!
I think someone needs to go to bed a little earlier tonight. She is a little grumpy!

Spring Choir

The kids have had an amazing choir program at school this year and they had a performance to show the parents all they have been doing. The teacher does the cutest songs with them. Here is Blake and the other 3rd graders. He was being a little show off during the baseball song.

Hailey and the first grade kids performed the Hannah Montana "Butterfly Song" along with many others. She loves this song about little girls and their Daddy's.

X is for X Ray

This week we had our preschool group at our house and we learned about the letter X. The kids all made X Ray hand prints with Q tips for the bones.
Madison and Riley loved being doctors to the baby dolls. They really loved and cared for all of them! Madison loves playing dolls with her girl friends.

Then Madison was the patient and had every ailment in the book. Her classmates took great care of her in our make shift hospital.

What a coincidence that at the same time of the little boy's Mom was having her foot X-Rayed. Unfortunately, she had broken it. I tried to get her to let us all come along as a really cool field trip experience. She wasn't really going for that one. Can you blame her? The kids had a good time anyways and they were "X"tra cute!
