Excited about eyeballs.

The kids were fascinated by sticky eyeballs this year and begged for them every time we went to the store. I did find these cool eyeball cups for our Halloween party this year. Some one had a cup of milk and Blake looked in it and said it looked like somebody's eyeball was melting. Funny! The girls had a good laugh taking pictures with they sticky eyeballs on their faces. Those were some seriously freaky eyes.

Our Mad Scientist Lab

For Halloween this year and Grandma Di's birthday we decided to have our cousins up for dinner. We had a mad scientist backdrop from a party a few years ago and decided to turn our garage in to a mad scientist's lab. We had a jelly brain, cauldrons full of body parts to touch, goo to play with and some mummy crafts to make. The slimy goo was a favorite one for sure!

We had a feast of fun Halloween treats with eyeball deviled eggs, mummy dogs, frog eyed salad, green witches brew and more.

Everyone loved have their cousins to play with on Halloween night. Isabelle was a trooper on the trampoline trying to get them all to take a picture. It obviously didn't work and she looks exhausted.
Jackson and Zach as Mario and Luigi. Abby and Kyla. Kyla was very sweet to bring her pet rabbit up for Abby to play with.

We also celebrated Grandma Di and Uncle Jamey's birthdays.
What a frightful crew!
Hailey took off with Kyla, Uncle Dave and Aunt Kelli trick or treating. The went the furthest and got the most candy. Thank you Uncle Dave for letting Hailey ride piggy back all the way back. Those shoes we too much after a weekend of Halloween. They also called because the got lost. Funny thing was they were right around the corner. The boys went straight to Blake's room to sneak candy as fast as they could before we told them no more.
Madison loved to count her candy and wanted to show it to all of her friends who came by trick or treating.
Halloween was lots of fun this year and we were happy to have family up to spend it with.

Ward Halloween Party

Right after the school's fall festival we headed over to our ward's Halloween party. They had a cupcake contest. I think Abby thought she was one of the judges, because she sure seemed to be tasting a lot of them. Our witch cupcakes tied for first place with Lillie's. I made something like four dozen of them between all the Halloween parties this weekend. I hope to not be making anymore for awhile.

Madeline and Madison were so excited to see each other and kept hugging each other all night, and jumping up and down. Girls are so silly.
They were also rocking it on the dance floor. Our sweet little Madison isn't shy when it comes to groovin to the music. She was a super cute cowgirl that night kicking up her heals.

Blake and his buddy Nathaniel were both storm troopers.

Hailey glowing her huge bouncing glitter ball we found to go with her costume.

At the end of the night they had a trunk or treat going on in the parking lot. Hailey and Karis got plenty of goodies. Who could resist those cute girls. After the trunk or treat Hailey went for ice cream with Karis and her family, because they must have not had enough sugar.Madison went around with Noah, and Todd and I passed out candy and chased Abby around.
Blake and his pack of trick or treaters. We are so lucky the kids have such a great ward family.

Fall Festival

Tonight our school had it's annual Fall Festival. The kids got to dress up and they had a bunch of carnival games for them to play.
Madison loved seeing all of her friends there and loved playing the games.
Hailey was mostly into searching for friends and getting her face painted.

Abby loved the bouncer and slide. She had a hard time understanding that she had to take turns. Blake came around for food and other than that he was off with his friends running around. The kid love their school and look forward to the festival every year.

Too Cute To Spook

Happy Halloween!

Madison's Kindergarten Party

Madison had her Kindergarten Halloween Party today. In her class there is a Madison, Maddie, and Madeline. The other kindergarten class also has a Madison. I think her friend Maddie and her both look alike. Maddie has blond hair and Madison has brown, but they still look similar. They are both so cute and happened to both be wearing Hello Kitty Halloween shirts. Madison's teacher asked if I would help with some crafts for the party. So made paper plate pumpkins and pipe cleaner spiders that they beaded with AB patterns like they do in math.

Drug Free! That's Me!

This week was Red Ribbon Week at school. The kids where supposed to wear red to show they promise to be drug free and the school had lots of activities to promote the No To Drugs campaign. Madison and Hailey where full of spirit and proud to show their red. They were so happy to be twins that day. Blake not so happy to be photographed. Hailey really wanted to spray her hair red for the day. Blake didn't see the point because he said he was already a red head.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Not to get pumpkins, but to get some fun pictures and let the kids run around in the pumpkins and through the corn maze. This year we grew our own pumpkins in our garden. The sprouted from the pumpkins from the year before. We got six pumpkins! One for each of us.

The kids also loved seeing all of the different kinds of things the Peltzer farms had grown. Abby was so funny when she looked at them. She was shocked by the different shapes and textures. Blake found one that looked like a coiled up snake.

Hailey and Madison were all about posing for pictures this time. They wanted their picture with everything. Blake and Abby just wanted to run. Daddy and Blake ran around the maze a bunch of times chasing each other.

Daddy couldn't resist Abby's pleas for a pony ride. She was so excited! Blake was too interested in the wheelbarrow to ride the ponies.
Then it was time to head home and get ready for school the next day.
