Easter with the Ryan Family

Sunday night we went to Di's house for Easter dinner and also celebrate the April birthdays.  The kids were very excited to find more Easter baskets waiting for them!

They were also ready to hunt for more eggs.  This time they were hunting for real eggs so they had to find every single one.

Jocelyn and Abby remind me so much of Sofia Grace and Rosie from the Ellen Show.  Later that night we should them a clip of them performing and Jocelyn and Abby decided to give us thier own performance.  They are quite the performers:)
Thanks to Di and all her hard work doing birthdays and Easter all in one night!

Easter Sunday

Sunday morning we were up by nine for church.  We were all grateful to go today.

When we got home we explored the Easter baskets the bunny had left for the kids.  Lots of beach stuff for our upcoming week of fun!  Then we did an egg hunt on the real story of Easter.  When we went out we found a robin bird on the back patio.  It just sat there the entire time we were outside.  We thought maybe it was injured but thirty minutes later it flew away.  The kids we fascinated by it.

Abby's Preschool Easter Party

Dying Eggs for Easter

Late Saturday night we squeezed in dying Easter Eggs together.  Blake and Todd had been camping in Joshua Tree with the boy scouts and I had a quick trip to the Urgent Care from an infection.  Of course we never seem to be home the same weekend when one of us is sick:)  It had been a very busy few days but we couldn't miss out on dying eggs together before Easter morning.
You are never too old to love dying eggs!
Abby and her animal egg collection.
Blake really got into making egg people this year.

Madison really rocked some cool eggs!
These guys were very egg xited bout their eggs.  They love eating hard boiled eggs!

Fun with the Photo Booth

The Scavenger Hunt

The girls were given a list of twenty things they need to do in the neighborhood and video themselves.  They had to knock on the neighbors' doors and get them to do some things and then do somethings at the park nearby.  They neighbors were very helpful and fun!   The girls really let the neighborhood know they were out and about.

Wow eight girls being silly together is a lot of laughing, screaming and singing!!!
They had a blast!!!

Hailey's Moustache Scavenger Hunt Party

For Hailey's 10th Birthday Party we had a "I Moustache You a Question" video scavenger hunt party during spring break.  She loves moustache stuff and loves to take videos of her and her friends together so we came up with a party idea.
They each got a finger tattoo and moustache when they came to wear with some had we found on clearance.  Sweet deall!!!

First we served the girls Hailey's favorite.  I giant subway sandwich, chips and root beer to wet their whiskers!

We also had a props for a photo booth and disguises for the scavenger.

I blew up a photo of Hailey and we played pin the moustache on Hailey.
I also made her a moustache cake.
The girls all went home with a small bucket of moustache stuff we called "My Stache!"
We really got into the play on words with the word moustache:)

Spring Break Pirate Adventure

The kids were out two weeks for spring break the last week of March and first week of April.  The first week we spent doing some serious spring cleaning.  They really loved that part:)  They had worked hard cleaning through the playroom and their bedrooms so one night we took them to Buena Park for the Pirate Adventure Dinner.  I was able to get the tickets half off so we thought we would go see the dinner show.
It was fun to get out and not have to cook dinner or run everyone around to their different activities.  The show was very fun.  Madison was by far the most into it.  She cheered and screamed like she was in a pep rally.  She had a great time!!!
