Super hero fun!!!
Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween 2013 from Alice and Wonderland, Batman, Wonder Woman and Super Girl!!!
This year for Halloween Blake went to a Halloween Party with all the 12 years old and so it was just the girls for Trick or Treating. We made mummy cupcakes to send with Blake and some Ghost soup for us and witches brew root beer. The kids love having those every year for dinner. Then we were off trick or treating. Hailey took her friends Loa and Trista and the rest of us went with Barbours around the neighborhood.
Lots of candy between them all!!! Luckily when we went to the dentist a couple of days later no one had a cavity.
Decorating Pumpkins
We finally got a chance to carve our pumpkins right before trick or treating. The kids each designed and cut out their own pumpkins this year.
Happy Halloween!
Decorating for the Trunk or Treat
The holidays are here and things are getting very eventful with parties and everything in between. I do love a good holiday party though. That is I probably why I always get asks to help in some way with them.
This year I decorated for the ward party with some help from some super helpful friends:)
and my super handy husband willing to hang fishing line all across the gym to hang my ghosts and pumpkins.I even got the young women involved in wrapping mummy cans for the popcorn. I had to come up with 24 cheap centerpieces since our ward is huge right now.
One of my favorite things I did was the cauldron's I put building foam in and sprayed them green to look like bubbling witches brew.
The photo booth is also always fun to do. Our spooky tree has been to many different Halloween parties over the year.
Trunk or Treat!!!
Haunted Hayride
We wanted to get a good scare before Halloween. These brave little zombies managed to survive the haunted hayride!!!
These two look a little less brave!!!
They played in the hay pit for almost a half hour goofing around together.
A frightening good time this fall!
Costumes for Halloween
This year I decided to make Madison and Abby's costume. I thought it would be cute to make matching costumes for their American Dolls
They all turned out really cute. I had red glitter on me for days after making Madison's tutu skirt. I tried to get Hailey to let me make her a super hero costume too but she had her eye on an Alice and Wonderland costume. Blake did agree to be Batman. I had to order a men's size for him. We all got a big surprise and laugh when Batman (Daddy) came down ready to save the world!!!
