By the time we got out of the show the sun was shining and we were able to walk on every ride. It was perfect and we ended up staying until Disneyland closed and riding everything we wanted to twice. It drizzled a little at times. My Mom called my phone later that night and said there had been Tornado warnings all day for that area and thought we had gone home. We stayed and had a great time.Tornado, Floods, and Disneyland
The kids were out of school on Monday for Martin Luther King Day and Tuesday for a staff day and we decided to take them to Disneyland on Tuesday despite the rain. The loved it!!! We bought some $3 parkas at 7-11 and we were on our way. Of course when we got to the tram and it was down pouring. Everyone was running from the tram to their cars. Not us we were going to Disneyland even if it was just to see a couple of shows. The guy and at the tram said he is now calling himself a search and rescue worker. It was crazy raining and we ran through a huge paddle to get to the 3D Muppet show. The kids were laughing and loving it.
