Some Bunny to Love

Abby was in heaven when her cousin Kyla brought her bunny, Fudge. Abby loves any thing soft and furry and is on the hunt all day looking for a puppy or kitty to cuddle with. So when Kyla brought Fudge she went crazy!
She wouldn't leave the poor bunny alone. She wanted to hold all the time.

She thought it was so funny hopping on the grass with the bunny and Abby kept sing "Hippity Hoppity" as she hopped. Kyla was super sweet to let her share the bunny and said she would bring it any time we came. I don't think she realized her bunny Fudge would have such a fan. It was so cute it almost makes me want to have a bunny.

Happy Easter!

Family Easter Party

After Conference on Easter we went to Grandma Di's house for a cousins Easter egg hunt and dinner.

Then all the kids got their baskets of goodies from Grandma Di.

Blake and Zach got the Diary of a Wimpy Kids new book and couldn't wait to start reading them. This is every mother's dream to see them ignore the candy so they can read a book. A rare moment for sure.

The girls and the other hand went right to any candy they could find.

We had a great time as always!

"Egg" cited about eggs!

After we got back from riding the boat and seeing the Easter bunny we came back to the campground and dyed eggs. The kids love boiled and eggs so they wanted to make as many as they could. It was fun doing them with friends on the beach while camping and not worrying about making a mess in the house. We made colored sand with the extra dye which made for a super easy clean up!

Taking the Boat to the Bunny

The last day of our camping trip we decided to take the boat across and go so the Easter Bunny at Seaport Village.
Abby loved the bunny and was so excited to be talking with a bunny. She was even more excited when she gave her a bunny lollipop.

After seeing the bunny we let the kids ride the merry go round.

Sunsets on the Beach

While camping over spring break there were some beautiful sunsets. So we took advantage and took some photos for fun. It was at least fun for me.

Spring Break!

Beach camping here we come! The kids were out of school for two weeks so one of the weeks we went camping on the beach with some friends. Between the families there were 17 kids. The kids love it! The weather was a little bit cool the first couple of days but it didn't stop us. Hailey's first morning walk looking for sand dollars she got swooped up by a wave. The water was freezing in the morning. She just laughed it off and hurried in to change. What a sport!
The second night there it rained in the middle of the night and our motor home had a small leak that we had forgotten to fix. We decided to take the motor home to Grandma Di's house and fix the leak. Thank you Di for letting us use her house for a couple of hours. We were all able to shower, and do a couple of loads of laundry while Daddy fixed the leak. We headed back down to the beach to spend the rest of the week. We were also able to fill the water tank back up so I was able to get a shower everyday for the rest of the trip without worrying about the water levels. Thank goodness! We also had some great weather the rest of the week.

The kids loved having the Dads there to dig huge holes, bury them and make them mermaids.
If the kids were not on the sand they were off riding back through the tunnels to the bay side. We had quite the pile of bikes to lock up at night. Unfortunately Joey's bike was stolen and when they got home they found it on sale on Craig's list. Apparently they come over from OB and look for good bikes and sell them.

The kids also loving playing games and sitting by the campfire! Blake loves it so much he was determined to stay by the fire and long as he could but he was so tired one night he fell asleep.

Hailey's birthday on Thursday when we were there so I had the kids make mini bunny cakes and we sang to her.
Abby loved everyone minute of it and wanted to be where all the kids were all the time.
The girls loved playing games!
Madison, Trey and Temet are such good buddies and loved climbing the life guard towers.
It is so nice to all be together and not have to worry about being somewhere
or getting things done.

Happy 7th Birthday Hailey

Hailey turned 7 today. She was so excited to spend her actual birthday for the second year in a row on the beach. We all made little pink bunny cakes and sang to her at sunset.
Blake was super sweet to her that day. He was out next to the motor home building a castle. I asked what he was doing and he said he was making Hailey her own castle for her birthday. Amazing they actually do love each other :) Sometimes they surprise me.
The next Sunday when we got back we went to Grandma Di's house to celebrate mine and Hailey's birthdays together.
Hailey loved her pink snuggie the most that she got in her everything box from Di! She thought that it was so funny to get her own snuggie. She was so excited and giggled about it for the next fifteen minutes. She loves infomercials.
Happy Birthday Hailey!
We love you so much and you have grown into a fun and
outgoing little girl that we love being around!
