The kindergarten classes were having a Polar Express day. Madison's teacher asked if I would come and bring a craft for the class to do and help with some of the activities they were doing that went with the story. Madison and the kids loved making the gingerbread cookie ornaments.
They did a few other rotations after reading the book and then had hot chocolate and all got bells. They were so excited to be able to wear their pajamas to school that day. Madison was also student of the week this week so she was excited to be wearing the special person cape and that she got to bring things from home to share. She also got to sit in the little rocking chair during circle time. She felt like she was big stuff.
