Campland

The first week of summer we took off for our first trip of the summer. This year we decided to go for a week to Campland. It was perfect because no one else was around and we all had the best campsites under the big trees. In the morning the kids would play around the campsite, ride scooters or go to the park. The girls were all making jewelry here. Don't they look fabulous!

The also loved playing with water balloon on the grass area.

Late morning after everyone was dressed, lotioned up and all the water toys were ready we walked down to the bay.

This year's sand castle contest.

Who knew what a hit the sharks would be.

Blake loves to swim out the the platform and jump off.
Between all six families we had lots of floats to go around.

In the early evening as the wind would pick up on the bay we would go over to the heated pools and splash around till dinner. The kids love to surf on Daddy and love picking each other up because they are lighter in the water.

I love this picture of Todd and the girls!

The kids LOVE corn on the cob. We brought down the BBQ and lots of yummy food!

After dark we would sit by the campfire and talk. One night we put the TV outside and the kids watched Gnome and Juliet.

We always have so much and are always looking forward to another year at the bay! It is such a great way to start off the summer
