Madison's Drive in Movie

For Madison's Birthday we had a 50's style drive in movie.   She was so excited for the party that night.  She plays a lot with boys and really wanted it to be girls and boys.  So we thought this would be the best party idea since it was such a big group. We had a concession stand with popcorn, candy, root beer and hot dogs.

I think the popcorn cupcakes turned out so cute and were so easy today!
When the kids arrived they all went to the "auto shop" to make their cars and personalized license plates.  Thanks to everyone who helped with the car assemble.  The kids that were done came in with me and played movie bingo and some other games.
Then it was movie time.  Everyone brought a pillow and blanket and we headed up stairs for Alvin and the Chipmunks.  The did great during the movie.  We really only had one kid who had trouble sitting through the whole movie.  They all felt really special in their cars!  It was really cute.  We managed to get 20 cars in there!
We gave them all some play money and Hailey and Karis did an amazing job serving refreshments to everyone.  They really worked hard and were very sweet with the kids.  They looked so cute!  I am ready to hire those two out to help with parties!  We made our kitchen into a diner where they served up ice cream after the show.
It was the loudest Happy Birthday Song I have ever heard.   They loved every minute of it.  They all got crazy while opening presents the last twenty minutes.  Were were glad that craziness didn't last the whole three hours.
 What a fun night!
Madison had a great time with her friends at the movies!
