Jungle Bells

The kids and I headed to the zoo for Jungle Bells the first week they were off of school.

 They had a great time monkeying around. 

We had not been to the zoo for a long time so they were really excited.

 They really loved the Africa area with the giraffes, zebra, and elephants.  Those are the girls favorite animals.    We had a good laugh at the jumping kangaroo too.  They really are amazing. 

 We stopped to watch the jumping elves do a show nearby.  The kids really thought it was cool.  After they painted Hailey and Abby's noses red and glittery.

They have a new elephant and lion exhibit that is really cool.  The lion sure was roaring when we were there.  The kids thought this sign was pretty funny.It definitely made Hailey step away from the lion. 

 The polar bear playhouse was really cute too.

 While Hailey and Blake were admiring every reptile at Blake's favorite place,  Abby snuck a quick little visit with Santa one last.
