Colonial Tea

Blake has been studying the American Colonial Days at school .  The fifth grade had many different ways of teaching the kids about this very important time in history.  The kids each had to create a colonial day costume for the different events. One of the events was a Colonial Day Tea party that parents were invited to attend and see what the kids have been learning about.
The kids had different booths showing some of the things that the colonial people did.  Blake was in charge of cleaning the weapons.
Next we were served tea and scones in the multipurpose room where we watched the kids perform songs and reenactments of some of the battles during the revolutionary war.

Mrs. Fine and fifth grade did an amazing job getting the kids excited about our history.  Blake loves being apart of her class.
