We have done Campland for the last three years with some family friends for Memorial Day. This year we decided to go in August right before school started. We had five families go. The kids have all grown up together and have such a great time. They really look forward to it every year. This year we almost did not make it though. We were all loaded up in the motor home and had car trouble half way there. We had a hose burst!!!! Luckily Grandpa Ryan was home and brought Todd some tools to get it up and running. After a couple of hour of them changing the hoses they could not get it started and I was starting to stress a little. Finally we were able to get someone to come look at it. It was 10pm by now and the kids had been stuck on the roadside for five hours and starting crying thinking we wouldn't make the trip we had planned. Scott our friend came and stayed with Todd and I drove the kids home to sleep. A mechanic came and got it started finally around midnight! He only charged us $100 so we were super happy. Todd drove the motor home down and spend the night at Campland and I drove down with the kids in the morning. He had everything set up when we got there which was super nice and everyone was very excited we made it!!!
Now it was time to relax and have some fun for the week!
The kids love the platform. The big kids love hanging out on it and rocking it.
The little ones love to float around and play catch.
Todd and Tim are such good Dads. They are always out there playing hard with all the kids. Hailey and Loa playing chicken thanks to willing Dads.
The girls were very happy to know the sand castle contest was still happening. They love working on it every year.
