Santa Monica Pier with Cousins

After a morning of soccer games we headed to Santa Monica to meet Paul, Robin, Jazmin and her their two foster girls, Alyssa and Trissidie.  They were in town for the a few days to take the girls to Disneyland and California Adventure.  We played on the giant sized playground equipment until they got there.  Daddy really loves the giant rings and swings.

The kids played in the water for a little while.  The kids were so mad I didn't bring their swimsuits but it was the coldest day of the year so far and we were not planning on getting in but Alyssa and Trissidie had never been in the ocean before so we waded in the water for a little bit. 

We had dinner together on the pier at a Mexican restaurant.  Thank Paul for dinner!

 Then we gave in and let the kids ride a couple of rides together.  They spent two days at amusement parks but everyone was ready to ride the roller coaster. 

Aunt Robin and Uncle Paul also bought the kids cotton candy to share.  It was fun to get to see them and show them a little bit of LA.
