Just before it got dark at night and after any other boats were off the river the race boats would come out and race. As the BBQ was heating for dinner we would walkover and watch them race. They would cruise at 100 miles an hour and you could her them roar down the river.
Late night dinners and laughing around the table makes for some great memories!
