We are so proud of Madison for making the decision to be baptized. She was beyond excited about her baptism. She could not wait for the day. We bought her dress in St. George when we when we went on our girls trip with Aunt Lisa and the girls. Kyla helped her do a fashion show in the store to pick the right dress. She really loved this dress and was so excited to finally be able to wear it.
Madison loves the scriptures and learning about the gospel. She really tries to read every night. She loves her new scriptures from Grandma Di and Gramps. She is always the first one to volunteer to read the scripture at family home evening. She gets really excited to do that. She is such a sweet girl!
So lucky to have a Dad who loves the Lord and is able to baptize her.
She has had the best primary teacher, Sister Harker. Those two have to stick together because they have been the only girls in their class until just recently a new family moved in with a girl Madison's age. It was a great night. Madison really wanted to sing When I am Baptized with Abby and Hailey. They did a very good job. We were so proud of them. Madison was very lucky to have so many friends and family come to her baptism. She had lots of friends from the ward there. Gramps, Grandma Di, Aunt Kelli and family, Uncle Jamey and family and Grandpa Ryan all came from San Diego. We all so were lucky enough to have almost all of our Newbold family there with Grandpa and Grandma Newbold. They all hurried here for the baptism and then we had them as house guest all week for Thanksgiving. She was beyond excited about that!!! Grandma Di and her Cousin Sara were sweet enough to talk at her baptism. Afterwards we went back to our house for pizza and root beer floats. What a special night for Madison!!
