The Jeep Tour

The jeep part of the tour had to be by far one of the coolest things we have ever done!!!  It really did feel like you were in Africa.  They had old military jeeps from the Vietnam time they had restored into Safari Jeeps.  The let the girls go up top first and then the boys next for the second half.

We thought we would just drive on the property around the enclosures, but we went in every single one but the rinos.  We were so close it was amazing!!!
The jeep in front of us had a very friendly giraffe come by.  The girls were not sure if they were ready to be on top but the giraffes just walked alongside our jeep.

Next we rode up the hill.  The place was amazing!!! They have 400 acres and Safari West is home for over 900 exotic mammals and birds and approximately 90 species.  Going after the rain was perfect because everyone was out and roaming.

Time for seat switching.

The boys got to go one the super muddy roads and a lot of their ride the rode was right next two huge slopes.   It was a little scary from below so I can only imagine from up top.  Blake loved the trill ride!

We were driving down a hill and a herd of Zebra just come walking down beside us.

Lots of unique animals with interesting facts. These waterbuck, Ellispe were very cool.

The gave us a perfect shot of their bulls eye rumps.
