Christmas Choir

Having three kids in school means not one but three choir performances right in a row. We definitely had the songs memorized by the end. Madison teachers didn't think she would get up in front of the whole audience the night of the performance, but she was excited and she did. Every Thursday she would talk about singing class and how much she loved it. She stood there with her classmates with no problem but once she saw me sitting by her teachers she got shy and stopped singing. She did the all the actions though and we got a few times when she couldn't resist singing along to the chorus.
Madison has such great teachers who she really does love. We decided to have them over in January so she sees that they are our friends too. So hopefully she won't be so nervous to talk to them. Although you would think they were her best friends how she talks about them at home.
Some sweet friends who love Madison even when she is quite at school.
Hailey performance was next. This year she was done with choir just like Blake. I think being in a combo class with 3rd graders didn't help the second graders stay so sweet and enjoy the choir practices like they did last year.

Blake performance was last and to kill time the two hours he had to wait there he and some friend played with their DSI's. I was up front taking pictures of Hailey's performance when I came back to see them showing their best support.
Boys will be boys. Blake as you can tell was so excited to perform. It was funny to watch all the younger grades so excited and proud and then the last performance with fourth and fifth graders.
