Celebrating our Birthdays!

Hailey and her school friends celebrating her birthday at school! We decided after school to take Hailey and let her get her ears pierced when she turned eight. She was super brave. For years Grandma Newbold has tried to get her to go but she wasn't interested, but now she was ready. A week later one fell out in the night so she had to have it re-pierced. A month later right before she was allowed to take them out, we apparently had gotton lazy about checking them for a couple of days. The ear had grown over the ear ring and she had to go to the ER to have it cut it out of her ear. Yuck! It healed up in a couple of days so now she wants to pierce it again. This will make the third time. I am way to big of wimp to have mine re-pierced. She is eagar to go for a third time.
The first Sunday in April Hailey and I celebrated our birthdays at Grandma Di's house. Hailey finally got the IPod she wanted. She got teary eyed when she saw it. Grandma Di loves to spoil them. I am glad that she was so grateful.
