On Christmas Eve we always have a nice quit evening at home. The weeks before Christmas are jam packed with things and Christmas Day and the week to follow is always very full of fun extended family things. So we really enjoy just being at home on Christmas Eve together. Santa made an early visit and brought jammies right before dinner. The kids wrote him a thank you letter and we all watched a Christmas show before bed. They love Daddy to read to them them under the tree. Then they hurry to put out a cookie and milk for Santa and are off to bed.
It seems like it is the one day all year they are all sound asleep within a few minutes. We got them up early the morningof Christmas Eve to help clean the church building. By nightime they were tired, but happy to have done some service on Christmas eve. Hailey said during a game a few days later that was her favorite Christmas memory. Santa really appreciates that!
