Soccer Party
Madison's end of the season was tonight at The Pizza Factory. She had a great season with the Blue Crushers and already looking forward to fall soccer!
Madison's Old Town Field Trip
Today we went to Old Town Temecula with Madison's 3rd Grade class since they have been learning about how Temecula was established. We first took a walking tour of some of the historic buildings.

The old jailhouse is always a favorite. Madison and her friend Cailin.
After walking the streets of Old Town we went into the Temecula Museum and saw artifacts from the original ranchers and the Pechanga Indians. Upstairs they have an interactive play are for the kids.
School Open House
Spring open house was tonight where the girls got to show us everything they have been learning and working on the last few months. First stop was Abby's class where she proudly showed us some of her math and writings. For science they have been leaning about water and plants so she had plenty of those projects to share with us too.
Abby couldn't be happier with her teacher's Mrs. Sved and Mrs. Breglio. Mrs. Sved commented how detailed Abby's work is and said she often has Abby help her with the details when she is drawing animals in the front of the classroom for the kids to duplicate. She is my little perfectionist.
Madison has loved 3rd grade. She loves Mrs. Helberg and how she lets them be leaders of their own classroom. She does great in her class because she is so good about working independently and getting her research and getting things done. She loves making posters and giving presentations. Here lasted two were her Ben Franklin poster and moon sculpture.
She also loves Mrs. Helberg because she assigns very little homework.
Last stop was Hailey's 5th grade class. There Mrs. Fine pulled us aside and said she wasn't really aloud to say this but that Hailey is by far her favorite student and to keep them coming. Hailey loves Mrs. Fine and is really sad to be leaving her in a few weeks. She is a great teacher who really motivates the kids and gets them ready for middle school! So blessed that getting the kids to school is not a chore because they love their school, teachers and friends! They are all three great Jackson Coyote students!
Roadshow
Blake was part of our Stake's Roadshows this year. Our ward did a little show on self reliance based on the Frozen movie. Blake and a few other deacons were the "cool as ice" rappers. They started out the show with a Vanilla Ice's song, "Ice Ice Baby". Our ward had 90 youth participate. They all worked really hard for two months with lots of extra practices. So proud of all of them. Such a great experience for Blake.
Blake's Final Band Performance
Last band performance of the year. So prroud of Blake for being willing to learn to play an instrument for the the last two years. I think he practiced a total of three times at home but they sure did sound pretty legit last night. Poor guy cannot get away from Frozen music. He survived and his little sister thinks he is super cool for playing Let It Go
Middle School Girls Club
A few Mom's and I from three different wards started a girls club with all the girls going into middle school. We hosted the first night at our house while Daddy and Blake were away at a scout campout. The girls all bonded immediately and had a blast together. They are a great group of girls.
They played some get to know you games outside then they came in and watched Annie together. It was super fun listening to them sing along to Annie. Super fun night!
School Fun Run
Today was the school Fun Run so we decided to go cheer the kids on while they ran and I took some pictures for the school. The school really got the kids pumped up about the race. The girls were so excited to run.
Abby was serious about running the whole time. She was all about the speed!
Hailey and Madison happened to be at recess at the time the kindergarteners ran so Hailey and her friends came over to cheer Abby on. They were so cute cheering her on.
Madison was the next group to run. She had a blast and was proud of the laps she ran.
Kindergarten Fire Station Field Trip
Today was Abby's first bus ride. She was so excited to ride the bus to the local fire station with all the kindergarteners. Everyday for a week she asked it if it was her bus ride day yet.
Abby and her best friend Annabelle.
American Doll Luncheon
This afternoon my friend and I took these adorable girls to an American Doll Tea at the library.
Abby went from being the only girl in her primary class to being one of five now. She adores her new friends.
