Spring Soccer

Madison has become very passionate about soccer so she really wanted to play spring soccer this year.  It was  co-ed team this time and she did great!
She really is a good defender and has been working hard on her kick.
She really enjoyed playing with the Blue Crushers this season.
There are not as many games as in the fall but Grandma Di came to a bunch of games and Grandpa Ryan was also able to come.

Happy Easter 2014

Everyone was all dressed up for Easter and looking adorable!  So we took some pictures in Scott and Christine's backyard since it is fully planted.

 Handsome boys!

 I just love this picture!

I love this one two because it is rare to see them smiling at the same time .  One is always poking at the other but there are times when they do get along and they are priceless!!!
Happy Easter 2014

Our Easter Egg Hunt

Time for a little Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard!

The Easter Bunny is really hiding the eggs this year.  No more scattered on the lawn.

Such a nice spring afternoon before heading to San Diego for Easter fun with the rest of the Ryan family at Di's house.

Easter Morning

Easter morning we had 10am church then we came home and looked through our Easter Baskets.
Hailey was grossed out by the giant banana slugs in their Muir Woods.  She got her own banana slugs in her basket.

I am so proud of the kids not even asking about baskets or eggs in the morning until they went to church where we were all reminded about the real reason to celebrate Easter.

Dying Easter Eggs with Grandpa

We invited any of our cousins that could come and Grandpa Ryan to dye Easter eggs with us.  Everyone was very excited to have them over to help get ready for Easter.  We first barbequed some dinner and then got busy coloring dozens of eggs.

Blake had to show Jackson how he likes to crack his eggs.

Grandpa is always lots of fun and he got silly with the girls using some of the props from our earlier Easter party.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Our ward had it's annual Easter Egg Hunt today.  It was a breakfast cereal bar in the park.  It  was a lot of fun.  Lots of fun games for the kids and of course a huge Easter Egg Hunt.
I was in charge of the photo booth again this year so I had to get all my
cute bunnies together for a picture.

Some bunny sure had a great time!

Frozen

Abby loves the Disney Movie Frozen right now.  She has everyone song memorized and is constantly acting the movie scenes out.  She was invited to a frozen birthday party and she came down in an outfit she picked out herself.  It was her version of Elsa's dress.  She is so creative!!!

Here she dressed herself up as Ana.
She loves playing frozen with her friends.  They dress each other up and act it our all afternoon.
This is her Olaf the Snowman costume.  She is definitely a little fashion designer.

Here is some video of her acting out one of the scenes with her best friend Annabelle.

Hailey's Family Birthday Dinner

Tonight we celebrated mine and Hailey's birthday dinner at Grandma Di's house.  Hailey picked to have a salad bar since she loves salads right now.  She loves her little cousins and was so excited to get some gift cards to go shopping with.

We were both spoiled tonight!  Happy Birthday!

Final Stop Grandma and Grandpa's house in Salt Lake City

The last three days of our trip we spent with Grandma and Grandpa in Salt Lake City.  We drove through Nevada to get there.  It was a very long and boring drive from Reno to Salt Lake.  We did stop at the Reno Temple but I can't find those pictures.  We were so glad to get to Grandma's house.  On Friday we skied at Brighton while Abby had a special day with Grandma, Bryce and Lillie.
Madison has gotten so good she did the bunny hill once and then said "this is too small lets go higher".  I love my little skier who always tries to challenge herself!

We spent the rest of the weekend before heading home with cousins.  We got to meet our newest cousin Addie.  Hailey and Abby loved holding her.  Lillie is no longer the baby of the family.

While we were there everyone came over for dinner and we celebrated my birthday and all the April birthdays.  The kids love going over to my old elementary school and playing on the playgrounds there.  While the boys were at priesthood the girls and Bryce played.

The main reason of the trip was so Blake could go to Priesthood Session of Conference with Grandpa Newbold.  Uncle Brett, Uncle Kerry, Lance and Grant were also able to get tickets to go.  Such a cool experience for Blake and Todd to see the Prophet speak in the conference center for the first time.  Such a good looking group of men!

Sunday we drove home.  It was cool to be able to hear conference on the car ride home.  We drove straight through and got home in time to get ready for bed.  I can't believe how much we fit in the back of the car.  We were looking forward to not unpacking our suitcases from the car every night or two.  We did love being able to see whatever we wanted and whenever we wanted without school, work and sport schedules.Such a great trip with lots of fun memories!
