We decided to take the Meshkins boating on Labor Day while they were here visiting from back east. The kids were very happy to be back together and doing one of their favorite things. We also went with the Dentith's since they love boating and jet skiing also and knew the Meshkins.
Noah, Blake and Nicholas have been friends since preschool and are still good friends today. I can't believe they are all middle schoolers. The boys were sure to plan a laser tag night at the park before Nicholas left. That night the Dad's were in charge while I was at a conference I pulled up about 10pm to about a dozen boys outside in a giant water fight with the neighbor girls' slumber party with about as many girls. They ran around outside until almost midnight chasing each other with water. I realized that night my kids are soon becoming teenagers. Yikes!
The girls also did preschool together. Elizabeth, Sara and Hailey did a joy school group with the Mom's. It was all girls, we called the princess academy sometimes.
It was a fun day on the boat. The kids all had a blast on the tube.
They looked like they were having so much fun the adults had to give it a try. Todd and Brian had a great time I am sure throwing Catherine and I around on the tube. That video will not be posted!!! Brian had not been boating before so we had to make sure he tried the tube. All day in the boat and being whipped around the boat had him hurling at the end. Poor guy.
Glad we could spent the day together again.
We stayed until twilight and then finished of the night at Sonic.
