In social studies, Hailey's 4th grade class has been focusing on the State of California. They had an assignment to dress up as someone famous from California. Hailey chose Shirley Temple because she loves to tap and Shirley Temple was a great entertainer who also tapped. She was a hit with her curls and the dress we found we even made a lollipop for her to hold. She sure is a cutie!
