Lake Tahoe

We made it to Tahoe by early evening.  It was a very pretty drive with all the pines trees everywhere.

 

The lake was huge and we were able to  walk along the lake as the sun was setting.

 Our hotel was right next to the Heavenly Mountain Resort.  Blake was getting very excited for skiing in Utah in a couple of days.

Our hotel room did not disappoint with some cool bunk beds again.  It was nice not to have anyone sleeping on the floor.  After dinner and a walk on the lake we were ready to settle in and make the drive through Nevada to Grandma and Grandpa Newbold's house.
